In total, the six young people who were arrested on 20 January 2021 in the Old Part of Donostiarra have been sentenced to 30 years in prison. During the Covid-19 era, politicians tried to avoid agglomerations, and on the eve of San Sebastian, a police operation was launched to evict the Old Party. The Ertzainas have launched several balls and some neighbours have launched objects to the agents, who have been located on the spot. In addition to the fracture of a bone on a young man's cheek, six people were arrested and eight Ertzainas were injured in the clashes that took place. Now, the Free Old Party! According to the platform, the six detainees on this occasion must appear before the judge on 22 October. Young people have been accused of public disorder, attack on authority, damage and injury to agents.

According to the platform, a "police assembly with serious prison requests" has been created in relation to the changes that have taken place at that time. In the note released, they also recalled that the incidents of St. Sebastian’s Eve were not an isolated case and, since then, many young people have been judged by the “repressive persecution” during the pandemic: “We have repeatedly denounced that, on the pretext of the health emergency, the political authorities banned all basic social and political rights, coinciding with the beginning of a political campaign of criminalization against youth.”

Old Aske! The platform not only calls for the "absolution" of the young people being prosecuted, but also calls for a "collective response to repression": "We appeal to participate in the different activities and festivals that we are going to organize in the face of this new trial," said the members of the jury.
