Boise Festival deferred to 2021
  • The festival, held every five years in Boise, USA, has been postponed for one year due to coronavirus. From 28 July to 3 August the celebration of the great festival that brings together Basques of the Basque Country and the diaspora was planned. Organizers have reported that it will be held between 27 July and 1 August 2021. With the new date, they have stressed that the current change will not affect the date of the next Festival, which will be held in the last week of July 2025.

Dancing Jaialdi

At the Jailadi festival, Basque dance, music and rural sport play a special role. As for the dances, the group of dances Oinkari of Boise and various groups of dances of the Basque Etxeas of the United States offer numerous performances throughout the festival, in the Basque Block, in the center of the city and in the great fair. In addition, a group of dances from Euskal Herria has been invited and for this edition of Jaialdi the group of Pamplona dances Duguna has been chosen.

Various clarifications

The organizers wanted to clarify that it is being decided how to make the returns and that this information will be shared as soon as possible. On the other hand, it is planned to expand the possibility of purchasing the 2021 tickets as soon as possible.

It is recommended to contact hotels and maintain agreements with sellers and it is explained that messages and announcements commemorating the program will be included in the 2021 issue, and that they will return the money if requested.
