“It is a step forward in the service we provide to the citizens; thanks to this benefit, as well as with guaranteed income, we are working to address poverty, for inclusion and to support people who need help in accessing employment,” said the President of the Government of Navarra, María Chivite.
The administrations estimate that the Minimum Vital Income (IMI) will have an annual expenditure of EUR 41 million. In addition to the benefit, this expenditure includes casualties and other examinations.
This is the second agreement reached by Navarre and Spain within the Commission on Transfers of Caja Navarra. Through this Commission, prison health management was transferred to Navarre last June.
