- The mobilisation, organized by Sare de Arrasate, will take place on 9 April, at 18:00, in Biteri Square. The neighbours of Arrasate have said that the majority are opposed to such sanctions and that they will demonstrate this on Saturday.
Along with this request, other classics of the demands of Basque political prisoners will also be thrown out: the release of sick prisoners, the repatriation of all prisoners, the right of parents to cohabitation with children in prison, the release of the elderly prisoners and the advancement of the degree of all prisoners.
There are currently 191 prisoners in prisons in the Spanish and French states. Of these 41 are in Zaballa, 19 in Basauri, 21 in Martutene and 10 in Pamplona/Iruña. The rest are in Spanish jails – most of them in prisons in Madrid – 20 in those in France and 9 in prisons.
Three of them are 32 years in prison: In those of France, Jakes ESNAL and Jon parot, and in those of Spain, Unai Parot.
