Between September and October last year, the aggressor died at least four men in the Casco Viejo de Bilbao, after staying home to the victims through the applications to bind. They call to occupy the streets
Coordinator E28 underlines the gravity of the situation and criticises the “complicit institutional silence”. “On 17 May, the day against LGTB phobia, we see more than ever the need to mobilize for the attacks we are suffering in recent months.”
Along the same lines, the Basque Observatory LGTBI+ has encouraged people to “continue to occupy the streets”, to continue “with protests and mobilizations against this violence towards LGTBI+ people.” The Observatory has been concerned about the attacks and hate crimes of recent years and has called on effective prevention political institutions and a comprehensive LGTBI+ Basque law.
