The first aggression took place in the early morning of Saturday, in the village of Portugalete. The 36-year-old man beat and raped the woman at the victim's home, where she was assaulted. According to the Basque Department of Security, the man, who wanted to have sex, after refusing, raped her. Besides sexually assaulting her, she inflicted several contusions on her.

The woman called SOS Deiak and the man left the house at the time, forgetting the jacket he had with him. There he had his ID card. The Ertzaintza stopped him on Saturday afternoon and, after being brought to court, he entered prison last Sunday afternoon.

The second attack took place in Bilbao, on Saturday night, in the immediate vicinity of Trauko Street. The man assaulted a woman and, after assaulting her, locked her with a knife in the house where she lived. After the intervention of the Local Police and the Ertzaintza, the male was arrested and transferred to police units.

Concentration on Monday

Last week it was known that a group of men sexually assaulted a minor during the weekend of Carnival, in the vicinity of Solokoetxe.

To condemn the aggression and claim feminist self-defense, the Feminist Youth Group of the Old Town of Kalamia has called a noisy rally this Monday at 19:00 in Zumarraga Square.
