The woman, who had not left, was arrested by Foral Police officers. He was taken to the Getxo police station and before entering prison, the woman tried to take her purse, even though the Ertzaines said otherwise, because “she knew cases of people who have lost money in police stations.” At that time, one of the Ertzaines punched the woman three punches on her face, according to the surveillance cameras of the Ertzaintza. According to the complaint, the perpetrator of the aggression is Ertzaina No. 8.259 of the Ertzaintza. After what happened, the two Ertzainas went to the medical services and, according to the doctors’ report, the ertzaina had scratches on the face.
As a result of this aggression, the two Ertzainas were summoned to testify as investigators at the end of February in Getxo's fourth examining court. The Ertzainas have also denounced the assaulted woman as the alleged author of an "attack on authority", according to sources from the Ertzaintza.
