Bessam had to be expelled from the French State on 25 April. However, he did not agree to pass the PCR test necessary to enter Tunisia. Since 18 February, when he was at the Hendaya detention centre, on 19 April he learned that his expulsion was planned for six days later. To prove his opposition, Bessam G. stopped eating and drinking and then went through his lips as a protest.
