30 mayors and firefighters from Oronoz cut the step to denounce that the Belate tunnels are "high risk"

- Great danger, safety! About thirty mayors and firefighters from the Oronoz Park have cut their way on Tuesday afternoon, for two minutes, in the northern mouth of the Belate tunnel. They have denounced the delay in adapting the tunnels to the safety requirements imposed by the European Union and called for the withdrawal of international transport.

Mayors and firefighters have warned that "the level of risk in tunnels worsens each year as truck volume increases". They also recall that the last governments had set a "15-year deadline" for adapting the Belate tunnels to safety regulations. Calls have denounced that "once the deadline is over, the current government still has nothing to do with it".
