The consumer association has decided to sue for a ban that is read in the general information section of the BBK Live festival website. Last Tour, the organizer of BBK Live, reports on things that can’t be accessed in the festival area, including fireworks, firecrackers, knives... and outside food and drink. This last prohibition has led the FACUA to file a complaint.

The Consumers’ Association recalls that the Consumers’ and Users’ Law states that the prohibition of the introduction of foreign food and drink should be considered as an “excessive clause”. In addition, the FACUA recalls the existing jurisprudence on this matter, such as the ruling of the High Court of Justice of Castilla y León (Spain) on the access of outdoor food to cinemas.

The consumer association believes that measures of this kind would make sense, selling food or drinks in places where the main activity is the sale, but not in the case of a music festival.

This is the second time that FACUA has denounced BBK Live. Previously, in 2016, he denounced to Consummobiden that the festival did not return unspent money to customers who used cashless bracelets.
