The Caserío Biezko de Atxondo will take over in the celebration of the Summer Farmhouse Harvest. On August 26, Aner and Oihane will open the doors of their home: “After so many years in the EHKOreader’s promotional team, this year we have to make the Caserío Harvest. This is the first time we have done something like this in Biezko and we hope to have the collaboration of our clients and friends. It is a great concern for us and we hope that we will have the best possible time, that we will have a nice holiday and that we will get close to a lot of people,” Aner said.

In 2007, home distribution baskets were developed in neighboring municipalities with products produced in the orchard. Now they have more outlets: In the Durango market on Saturdays, for example, in the Marisatsa consumption association of Durango and in the restaurant Amillena de Arrazola. So they decided to live from the farmhouse.

Biezko is a very diversified farm. Besides orchard, they have fruit trees, chickens, chickens, bees, small fruits, medicinal plants, edible forest and rural tourism, among others. “We opened the cottage 6-7 years ago. We try to offer a quiet and comfortable place to bring together large groups or families.”

They often use animal traction. Although they do not give up the tractor, they work the garden with donkeys. In addition, they transform and distil the cultivated medicinal plants to make shampoos, soaps, creams, etc.
