François-Xavier Pestel, academic director of the Atlantic Pyrenees, will announce the final details of this course on 15 September and has received a clear message from the parents and teachers of the Camus de Baiona school with this occupation. According to Mikel Irastorza in the media, on the afternoon of 12 September they moved at the school door and spent the night there. They are scheduled to be present until Wednesday, without damaging the classes, but from 8:00 to 20:00 they will protest inside the school.
The faculty has sent two letters explaining the subject and requesting an additional classroom to the academic director of the services of the National Institute of Education. The union UNSA, which promotes the teacher initiative, has told the Journalist that "the request has not been accepted, and there are 30 students per class at that level, and all other levels are heavily taxed". In June they sent him the first letter and in September the second. In the latter case, he was informed that if the additional resources are not accepted, "hard actions" will be carried out and a strike will be held on 15 and 16 September.
Also in Argia de Maule, in 5th grade, they have an average of 31 students per class. To denounce it, protests are taking place in recent weeks and parents and teachers concentrated on 9 September. This initiative was supported by a number of voters: Mr Iñaki Echaniz, Mr Frederique Espagnac, Mr Jean-Pierre Mirande and Mr Maule Louis Labadot's candidate.
