AEK-Korrika will grant a grant of EUR 23,000 to project #badon, which the jury has decided “unanimously”. Thirteen projects have been presented to this competition from the next edition of the Korrika Kulturala, and AEK has stressed that all of them have been “very good”. According to the jury, one of the main reasons to win #badon has been the importance the project will give to the creative process: “They propose a laboratory of creativity for interdisciplinary collective artistic reflection.”
Artists Olatz Salvador and Ines Osinaga received the scholarship on Wednesday on behalf of the entire team, highlighting the community of the project. It will focus on the transmission of Basque culture and on item 23. The show will be presented in the framework of the Korrika Kulturala, from November 2023 to April 2024. However, the project promoters have emphasized the work done to date. In the portal Badon.eus they have defined that the goal is to find questions and “bring to the plaza the voices of the bodies that have been left in the shadow”: “The result will be the story itself and the new narratives that arise when sharing the process. Perhaps because the thread that has reached today and even we lack the links”.
