It is not good news for organisations working in the field of ecology and climate change. In fact, the summit was intended to launch the Paris Agreement and now, to the usual delays, it will be added another year. In general, environmental organisations claim that "the decision cannot serve as an excuse" for the implementation of the Paris Agreement. But most of them are afraid of it.

For example, they denounce that the delay in the United Kingdom is doing very well, because Prime Minister Boris Johnson is going back from the commitments made in his day by the British Government, and other governments are doing the same.

Many environmental organisations believe that the summit should be maintained in a virtual way, thus ensuring the health of the participants and enabling the Paris Agreement to be launched. We get the news from El Salto, where you can see it more completely.
