According to a study conducted by the University of Bristol, it is ten times easier to find a betting house in poorer neighborhoods than in a wealthy one. On the contrary, only 10% of food establishments are located in these places.

In the United Kingdom, gambling halls have multiplied. Currently there are more betting houses than shops in the eight large supermarket chains. In this sense, while in poorer neighborhoods there are 10% food shops, in gambling halls there are 34%, in bingo rooms 30% and in casinos 29%. In the case of basic services and facilities, the situation is inverse. Data collected by the BBC.

The NGOs have once again warned of the seriousness of this problem, the situation of which remains open. They have recalled that about 500 young people addicted to gambling are doing themselves last year and have asked the Government and municipalities not to allow new premises to be opened around schools.
