Another year, Monday 8 July will be remembered with the monolith dedicated to Germán Rodríguez. It will be at 13:00 hours: the aurresku, first, the bertsos of Mikel Lasarte and then the performances of La Furia and Fermin Balentzia. At dusk, the Peñas will leave the bullring in silence and with banners and a tribute will be paid to him in the monolith of Roncesvalles Street.

It is 46 years since the murder of Germán Rodríguez at the hands of a police shot in the city centre. It was in the bullring on July 8, 1978. Since then, the Locals and the Sanferminak 78 gogogoan platform have called for truth, justice and reparation for the victims who led the police clashes in the bullring.
