The 2024 Alavés Bertsolaris Championship arrives, which this year marks its 16th edition and is forty years since the first Alavés Championship. Following the route we represent in recent editions, a prepared landscape that represents the summits of Alavese bertsolarism. The first phase was contested by 18 bertsolaris and today the semifinal that 12 bertsolaris have disputed is over.

Paula Amilburu Izargarai (Aramaio)

Aitor Ugarte Eriz (Aramaio)

Xabi Igoa Eriz (Aramaio)

Asier Otamendi Alkorta (Urretxu/Gasteiz)

Cosgaya by Izar Mendiguren (Llodio)

Aroa Arrizubieta Barredo (Vitoria)

In this second phase 14 suitable bertsos have been sung and the solo work will be stateroded. After all the exercises, Asier Otamendi obtained the highest score, with 366.5 points. The final is completed in order of score in the two semifinals. The scores were as follows:

Asier Otamendi: 366.5 points

Paula Amilburu: 353.5 points

Aroa Arrizubieta: 352.5 points

Xabi Igoa: 346.5 points

Aitor Ugarte: 339 points

Izar Mendiguren: 303 points

The host of Joy-Dulantzi was Marta Ugarte Abasolo, from a group of thirteen people. The jury of the second phase, the quarterfinals, is composed of Mikel Fernandez de Arroiabe, Fernando Sopelana, Iker Elexpuru and Aitor Jimenez Tolosana. Endika Jimenez Enbeita as secretary.
