“Meetings are important for network members to see themselves, face to face, get to know each other directly, have fun… and to reclaim our presence: after all, the press has the greatest prominence in the world of public media, because there are few televisions, but there are many local free radios, and each one has an important information and function in their place, that is what we want to highlight in these meetings.”
The free radio network in the Basque Country has a trajectory of twenty years and currently has 25 members, because some communication projects have ceased to occupy frequencies but others have emerged. “It is no coincidence that there are so many small free radios in Euskal Herria; there is the result of the activism that began in his day, linked to freedom of expression, to having fun with words… and the Meetings are a reflection of it.”
With the theme “In Euskal Herria you have to listen!”, the members of the Red Rosa remember that they are following the same path, and that from Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 they keep doing magazine Zebrabidea, magazine for the whole of the Basque Country.
