In a five-point press release, the company Ekotrade RDC'S wanted to clarify that it has no direct relationship with the dumping of clothing in Ziordia. On the one hand, points out that its function is to manage construction waste. Although the company has participated in other waste management projects in the media. For example, he collaborated in the Anoetatik Baratzetara initiative of Gipuzkoa to collect the furs from the Donostia-San Sebastian Anoeta stadium and compost them.

In the footnote, the company notes that they do not have their own means of transport, or trucks, so that the transport of waste is carried out by other companies. The Department of Security has clarified that "on the dates of the alleged issue, no transport contracted by Ekotrade has approached Ziordia" to the scene. However, he pointed out that last year there was a "one-off incident" in Ziordia, but due to the "error" of a transport company, which was communicated to the government services of Navarra.En any case, the information provided about transport clashes with the offer that Ekotrade advertises on its own website. "We have 16 trucks of all kinds: cranes, chairs, cocoa, dump trucks, garbage trucks..."

The ediles have complained about the information published in some media that they have not specified because the pavilion of Ziordia "has no connection" with the company Ekotrade. They say that in this pavilion there are all kinds of waste (branches, barrier remnants, drums, plastics, mattresses, furniture, wool, etc. ). ), "much more than used clothing." And to ensure that, photos have been taken in the same pavilion and will be handed over to the administration to take action against this "uncontrolled landfill."

They have denied any link to the world of recycling clothing. They have also stressed that Ekotrade is not performing any tissue collection or recycling service and that it has not participated in collection campaigns for such materials. In any case, according to ARGIA, the list of companies authorised by the Basque Government for waste management includes the list of clothing for Ekotrade.
