The unions of the company Tubes Reunidos believe that the pre-agreement reached on March 27 is at risk.” To begin with, the workers’ organizations have argued that the management has used the Royal Decree of this Sunday to maintain its activity.

In addition, the new dossier proposed by the company would start on 10 April on production grounds, which was not previously agreed.

On Thursday, no agreement was reached between those responsible for the plant and the workers' representatives. The second meeting between the two sides began on Monday, in Bilbao, and in Donostia. They will continue to negotiate, but on Thursday some unions, in principle, explained that they did not intend to sign anything.

Tubes Reunidos agreed on 27 March to launch an employment regulation dossier for a period of 3 months.
