'Concert Agustico', Arrastoak initiative
Leaving a mark
  • Thursday, 21 February, at 7 p.m. Sitting in the Navarrería Square, the atmosphere for drinking a beer, the desire to take advantage of the advanced spring of climate change. However, people enter Zabaldi's Kalaska room by drop but not stop. "Come with your feminist friends," the invitation said. It is noticeable that March 8 is close and the feminist leisure offer is growing in these times. But the clues have been created to stop, as Bilgune Feminist from the Region of Pamplona/Iruña intends to organize a feminist evening each month.

The initiative aims to be a new place for women* who are dedicated to culture, a comfortable setting for those who leave a feminist mark through creation. And a meeting place for the feminists of the Region of Pamplona. The objective is to strengthen ties with the neighborhood groups and to share more time with this network, outside meetings, demonstrations and gatherings. And of course, always accompanied by a good pintxo-pot. The first, therefore, will be held in February and in the Casco Viejo. The first surprise has also come to the beginning: the organizers want to thank the creators for their work through creation, and for that, every month they will give away to anyone who comes the work of another artist. On this occasion, the trio that comes to sing the concert has received a painting by Naia Mira.

What: 'Concert agustico', Arrastoak initiative
When: 2019-02-21
Where: Zabaldi de Pamplona

They have appeared as threes, because they do not want to have a name as a band and in each performance they take a new name. Inscriptions by place and time. Today we call them "Agustico Concert." They come from Vitoria-Gasteiz with a simple guitar. The audience has received in Zabaldi microns, not large, naked: words written in a small notebook and three voices. The eviction of the feminist space Talka has occurred in the morning, and rage echoes when the group is still on stage. The trio wanted to dedicate not a song, not two, but the whole concert. And what a concert.

They say writing is self-observing... Without a guitar, after percussion on his back, the chords are introduced. The guitar goes from one hand to the other on each song, and a small notebook that picks up the letters. As natural as if they were in an essay, looking at each other and smiling between notes. They all sing as strong as candy: Izaro, Silvia Tomàs, Benito Lertxundi, Silvia Perez Cruz, Xabier Lete, izaki Gardenak... No matter what version it is, the song is yours at that time, created expressly for them, adapted to their taste. They end up with a collection of Mikel Laboa, and the listeners have also started singing with ellos.Se hear screams that ask for "another, another" but stay waiting for the next one, as they have closed the notebook and saved the guitar.

I'll make a simple joke. It's actually an "agustic concert." One of those special concerts that brings you closer to the simplicity of resources. If each name is a revelation, the path of the trio will have to be followed carefully. At least, they've left the track.
