  • This year, the initiative will last for five days. During the first two days, the "centrality" will be limited to the planned work, which will be carried out intermittently in works, workshops, shifts and leisure. On Saturday, the organizers have prepared a series of programmes to "deepen the political content", which will address, among others, "different areas of socialist policy" and "current political challenges". Sunday will be the turn of the march and the celebrations.

The Socialist Youth Coordinator and Ikasle Abertzaleak have announced the programme of this year’s Young Socialist Forum, after bringing together hundreds of people in the national presentation. This time it is a five-day initiative, from 9 to 13 April, in LEGUTIO (Álava).

As the organizers announced, "the planned work will also have its centrality" at this year's Topagune. Thus, the first two days will be working, Thursday and Friday. Starting in the morning, young people will be divided into several blocks to work intermittently in works, workshops, shifts and leisure.

This year will also work on the "adaptation of the spaces organized within the framework of the socialist line" as a "tool to multiply forces, deepen the organizational capacities and contribute directly to the local projects and spaces at the national level", as indicated in the presentation. This year, the Hotel Expropiuon, which is at risk of eviction, will be particularly important.

However, by the end of the working days, the organization has prepared a free time offer: on Thursday will be the circus after dinner and on Friday the Abagune show.

Saturday, word by word

After working days have ended, the Saturday will be the time to "deepen the political content" of the proposal. The talks will start at 10:00 hours and will be based on "different areas of socialist policy" such as gender, paid work, youth, students, space control and culture. Then, at 16:30 a.m., there will be a popular meal in which the political challenges of today in the Basque Country will be reviewed.

After dinner, author singer Petti will work in Legutio.

Sunday, march and concerts

On Sunday morning, on the other hand, young people will march to the campgrounds of Albertia. Then, at 14:30, the food will take place, and at 19:00, the members of GKS and AI will start the central event. In the evening, it will be the turn of the celebrations, which will feature Dead Bronco, Boot Boys and Rude Pride, and then Bassagain Hip Hop Reggae Connection, MC and several guest DJs.

On Monday, this year’s Topagune will end with pick-up work.

Bonds for sale

According to the organizers, the bonds are still available at the points of sale installed throughout the territory of Euskal Herria. Tickets for the five days can be purchased for 35 euros.
