Several members of ELB and Lurzaindia have entered the notary’s office on Thursday managing the sale of land on the road to Berroeta, in Arbona, to denounce that the Borther family has sold 12 hectares of land and that the Safer structure cannot intervene as the sale has been done.

In order to put an end to speculation and denounce that this notary would hold "special contracts" and "sub-play", they have placed posters inside the office. They have also explained their demands to the notary himself.

Responding to Lurzaindia’s demand, the Safer structure has decided to purchase these lands from Arbona as a matter of priority at crop prices, and the Borther family has a period of one month to choose the proposal. But now it is known that the family has just sold 12 hectares of land through notary Miguel Harrigue, for 200,000 euros, when Safer can do nothing in the operation.

Last year great mobilizations were made to hinder the sale of these lands in Arbona and also occupied the lands, but "the seller continues to try to sell them at an unattainable price, with the complicity of the notary," explains ELB on Twitter.
