In recent weeks the Executive is preparing a new set of confessions after analysing the cases presented in the commission of victims of violence of the extreme right and the police force, and today it has been known that Ángel Berrueta is among the new recognitions.

Berrueta was killed on 13 March 2004 by a police officer and his son at his bakery in San Juan de Luz when, following the attacks of 11 March in Madrid, he refused to put a cartel against ETA. The Government of Navarre has recognised Berrueta and its widows and their four children as victims. After the murder and during the trial against the police, they suffered insults, threats, phone calls, pressures... The suffering lasted for years. They will also receive the recognition of the Foral Government.
