As planned, the fight has remained firm in the second round of the Polish presidential elections: Andrzej Duda, so far ultra-conservative president, has won the vote by obtaining 51.2% of the votes of the delegates. The liberal Rafal Trzaskowski, who is also mayor of Warsaw, was in front of him. According to the experts, two different approaches have been disputed on Poland: one – the one that has dominated – the rural and conservative world and the other, urban and liberal.
Participation in the second round was 68.12%. In the first round, Trzaskowski won 30.34% of the votes, which surprised him. The first vote took place on 28 June, with a total of 11 candidates, although it was also then that Duda got 43.5% of the votes.
