The human rights organisation has recalled that González is charged with a crime of espionage by the Polish authorities and, consequently, they have him in Rzeszów prison, without being able to communicate with his lawyer and his family.

They have also reported that the journalist had no lawyers until 14 March, sixteen days after his arrest, so they have refused to have a criminal record.

He also says that the relationship with the family is fundamental: "The lack of contact of detainees with others hinders the preparation of their defense and affects them both in their private and family life, as well as in their health and well-being."

The association has contacted the Spanish Embassy in Poland and the country has asked it to guarantee all these rights.
