Leaving the car in the Iraeta district of Zestoa and following the meander of the River Urola, the inhabitants of different corners of the Basque Country have come to the lands of the Amilibia farmhouse with a nice ten-minute walk. Amillubi is going to celebrate the implementation of the collective project at the Taupaka Spring Earth Festival, and those who have found it there will bring a pleasant surprise. A beautiful meadow in the rich landscape surrounded by mountains and forests, and a festive infrastructure specially conditioned by the members of the Amillubi project: a small amphitheater sustained by wide strips in front of the stage; corners created with tables under small tents; colorful fabrics and sonbrils for those who want to lie in the field; txosna that serves agrobins; playground area; The flag of Palestine is the Railing town.

In the natural space and with the sun, a quiet and pleasant atmosphere has been created from the beginning among the participants, it has been heated during the day and the rainy rains that have been produced at dusk have given the apothetical end to the party dancing together under the tents. The organization reports that 200 people have gathered in the food, as well as 50 other people who have spent the morning and many others who have come in the afternoon. Amillubi is a partnership that promotes the ecological cultivation of the violur, and the organizers have emphasized that most of the people who have been at the Udaberriko Lurra Taupaka festival have not been until then in the assemblies of Biolur, with an urban profile, and have valued this very positively, because it shows that Amillubi has been one of the pillars of the project: he has put together farmers and consumers.

Amillubin has sown leek seeds in this area. Faced with difficulties in obtaining organic leek plants, they wanted to respond to this need.
"We've got half the money we're going to pay in two years."

Several members of the executive team working on the implementation of the Amillubi project have explained to the public that they have attended the festival during the morning the situation and its character. The Amillubi project consists of five hectares of forests and four hectares of farmland. Being on the banks of the river is a treasure for cultivation. The Amilibia farmhouse has two lives, one of them is the one acquired by the Amillubi project; the other half has been acquired by a family belonging to the Biolur association and has a beautiful garden in motion in lands close to the Amillubi project.

Members explain that the Amillubi project needs 390.000 euros to pay for land, farmhouse and house repairs. They value that the family that sells them the farmhouse gives them a period of two years to pay. "Our goal is to undertake the project without indebting us," says a member of Amillubi. Various avenues have been set in motion for funding: in December a campaign was launched between citizens and the challenge by the end of May was to reach EUR 150,000. When writing these lines, the received lines amount to €110,000 (the contribution can be made in the direction www.amillubi.eus). In addition, they have visited municipalities, institutions and companies to inform and promote the project. Members say that they have now achieved half of the funding and that has given them the air to continue working on this path.

In addition to the agricultural or livestock work carried out each at home, the meetings and works of the Amillubi project are carried out by the fifteen people who form the promoter team. In addition to publicizing and raising the project, the land of Amillubi has been launched for spring. To this end, various neighbourhood work has been carried out between Biolur’s partners to prepare the ground and condition infrastructure. They sow seeds of leeks, in view of the existing vacuum to obtain ecological plants, in order to respond to this need. Once the march of the Auzolans is over, open calls will be made so that citizens who so wish can participate. The next work is maize and bean planting.

Plant purification system. The "gray and black" waters of the farmhouse will be purified by filtering through this sand area.

Among the infrastructure arrangements, the most innovative has been presented to the neighbours who have met in Udaberriko Lurra Taupaka, a plant purification system to treat the "grey and black waters" of the bathroom and sink of the Amilibia farmhouse. At the height of the farmhouse a zone of sand and similar material has been established in which several plants have been planted. They pass the water through it and as a consequence of this process they receive the purified water for later channeling.

"A lot of people ask us what we're going to use the hamlet. Our priority is soil and we have not yet defined any project associated with the building. We think we are going to enable a wide space where we can take courses and meetings," said a member of Amillubi.

Long live the party

All audiences have enjoyed the great program of the Udaberriko Lurra Taupaka festival. The organization has greatly thanked artists for their involvement, thanks to the work done by Musutruk, as the contributions collected that day will go to the Amillubi project. It's been a full party, with humor, critical vision, sound and good vibrations. The citizen invents the forest bath with the cooperative Tantai; the humorous connection with the land with Enekoach (Antton Telleria); the performance of the Basque Network of Batukada Feminist; the clown show of Itziar Saenz de Ojer; the humorous monologue of Beatriz Egizabal; the poetry of Mejuntillo:

Children's corner.

The Amillubi Working Group has announced its intention to hold a spring holiday, so every fall there will be more opportunities to enjoy and show Amillubi’s support. The citizens who have enjoyed this first party have pointed out to the camera, when they were asked for their reasons to come to the party and for the Amillubi project: "Protecting land is a priority at this time", "food is a strategic sovereignty", "cultivation respectful of land is fundamental", "turning land into a common heritage is fundamental", "having a collective project is worth a lot" and almost all have highlighted the idea.
