Making what we dream come true
Iraultza Txikien Akanpada 2023ko uztailaren 19a

"The men who live united to the earth warn us that last year had four stations, only summer and winter have left us." "You have spent in seconds what has accumulated for centuries, with great ecocides," the earth reproaches us. "I'm getting more hungry," our pockets complain. "And this war, and those that will come, for the competition between the empires? the deaths of Russia and Ukraine are screaming. "Europe is a garden and the rest of the world is a jungle," says Borrell, head of European diplomacy, a few kilometres from the common grave of the Mediterranean. "Applying vascuence is discriminatory," it's a pride of monolingual judges and politicians to necessarily bilingual citizens. "Feminism is an ideology against men," says the alpha male with the foals on the table; and "sin abortion," today's fetal morning rapist. "I am doomed to manage the misery generated by supra-state powers and neo-liberalism," Parliament is honoured. "Our ability to dream big and influence the agenda is very limited," we say members of popular movements.

We can continue to accept, normalize, delve into the dream of individual salvation. But we are convinced that this world will be habitable thanks to popular revolutions, and that will or will not be by the impetus of popular movements and citizenship. Not what we are today, we know, but what we are going to build day by day: strong popular movements, with the capacity of influence at the neighborhood, town, region and Basque Country level, with their collaboration and greasy articulation. The Camping of the Small Revolutions, the ITT, since its first edition, has claimed the importance of the spaces that will drive it and in this third we will continue to break the popular revolutions.

We are convinced that this world will be stimulated by popular revolutions, and that will be with the impetus of popular movements and citizenship.

The first ITA was held in 2018 in Zubieta (Gipuzkoa). In a later positive assessment it was decided to organize the camp every two years and each in a new place. Pandemia delayed the second edition for a year, but in 2021 people from Artea and Basoa took the baton in Bizkaia. In this 2023 we organized in Izarra (Araba) the third meeting point of popular movements, militants and believers in the world of the people. In all editions, agents and people from each place have assumed the main burden of the organization, relying on the work of transmitting some people who have participated in the previous ITT.

We want to realize what we dreamed of in Izarra from 19 to 23 July, among all those who usually come to us we will go ahead. We want to sharpen the tools of operation and expansion. We want to know each other and take care of ourselves, but we also want to have a tough and confident debate. We want to learn and unlearn each other. We will claim that the engine of transformations are popular movements and people rooted in the street.

We don't come time, we want to increase our influence. Questions are as essential as ever, but in these times we need more answers than ever. How to influence, from where, how to articulate each other, how to combine the small and the big, the punctual and the strategic look, how to walk from the nightmare of today to the popular revolutions of tomorrow. We need answers that give us confidence, that are always in question, but that we feel firm. Verbal answers, but above all revolutionary desires, desires for struggle, organization, projects and solid structures. In the absence of great collective grips, we will continue to respond to this era of fears, wars and uncertainties individually and more rightly, that if they are built they can grow revolutionizing peoples.
