Change policy could continue to be pursued in Nafarroa Garaia
  • The Navarre Foreign Elections will be held in May. The survey carried out by EiTB Focus is, in general, optimistic for the coalition currently operating in the Government of Navarra. In the City Hall of Pamplona/Iruña, however, the continuity of the current government could be complicated.

Throughout Upper Navarre, Geroa Bai would increase significantly, citizenship would ratify the politics of the quadripartite. The party leading Uxue Barkos would have four more representatives. There is no doubt that the President of Navarre is the main cause of this increase in economic activity. Geroa Bai would get as many seats as UPN would: 13 parliamentarians.

Nationalism is spreading in the Kingdom. Regionalists (UPN at the head) are losing their influence. Pp is in the process of disappearance. Citizens and VOX will appear on the political scene. The first could have a seat in Parliament, the second would not have a seat.

The fragmentation of the Spanish right could make it easier for the President of Navarra, Uxue Barkos, to continue in office.

Municipal Term of Pamplona

Pamplona/Iruña could remain the stronghold of UPN, as it would remain the most voted force, although the survey would give it a smaller seat. It could go from 10 to 9. EH Bildu, for its part, could win two councillors, rising from 5 to 7.

As in the Government of Navarra, Joseba Asiron, head of government of the capital of Navarre, could receive the approval of the Non-Citizens. Over and above parties, citizenship would be responsible for rewarding people. GEROA Bai could lose a councilor. The PSN would have three, the same as it had. The Citizens' Party could enter the plenary session with two councillors each.

In order to continue to implement the policy of change in Navarra, the City of Pamplona needs the support of the parties that have been given so far. However, the internal division of Aranzadi (headed by Laura Pérez), which worked with Podemos, would lead to a decrease of 3 to 1 councillor. For its part, Left-Ezkerra would remain represented at the Congress of Deputies. In total, Joseba Asiron would lose three of the nine councillors he would rule, although EH Bildu would win two, so one would be missing.

In any case, the foral and municipal elections will be held within six months, and in the meantime, the votes of many citizens are in doubt. The latest survey, the poll on the voting day, will shed light on the recognition and guarantee for another four years of the forces that are carrying out the change in Navarra.
