Izena pentsau bida (Aramaio) and Bertxilika (Gasteiz) groups face Sunday in Zabalarte de Salvatierra. A lunch will be offered at 18:00 and the session will start at 18:30.

Members of the Izena pentsau bida group Martin Abarrategi, Danel Herrarte, Manex Agirre and Sabin Abarrategi. Bertxilika, Aroa Arrizubieta, Maddi Agirre, Hegoi Amabizka, Samuel Rodriguez and Eukene De los Aires.

It will act as rapporteur Irati Martínez. The programme will be evaluated by three judges: Iker Elexpuru (Izena pentsau bida), Txomin Elorza (Bertxilika) and Ainhoa Aizpurua on behalf of the Bertsolaris Association of Álava.

Bertsolaris shall perform the following exercises in the semi-finals:

-Collective farewell (not scored)

-One of Group A oppresses with one of Group B in the major zortziko three bertsos

-Those before the back, one from group A to three from group B and vice versa, the previous 3 verses and the later a verse

-One group B with one group A in zortziko txikia three berts.

-Answer three points on zortziko txiki (group B bertsolaris to group A bertsolari and vice versa).

-The invention between the 3 members of group A, by points, one of group A will know the word and respond to the group members in 3 minutes. Then the same exercise for group B.

-Two from group B trades against two from group A, completing the melody Iparragirre in equal parts with the group, giving the theme in audio format.

-Three cocks of three people from the same group accompanied by music.

In addition, in the semi-final of Agurain, Iñaki Jauregialtzo has collected mud and verses in the exhibition "Lur Bustian bertsolariak". It contains 25 handmade ceramic pieces, made of black clay, flushed and enamelled. The piece gathers the image of bertsolari and its verses. One of the objectives of this project is the socialization of Bertsolarism, a good excuse to know, share, disseminate and, at the same time, relate the Basque country with the play field.

The exhibition will open at ZabalArte on 26 February.

On January 27 the Bertsolaris Crew of Álava began. In total, 12 instant teams participated in the first phase, and after 12 sessions for three weeks, 6 teams moved to these semifinals. The first semifinal will be held in Agurain, the second on Saturday at the Casa de Cultura de Labastida and the last on 12 March at the City Hall of Murgia.

The winners of each of the semifinals will be those who sing at the sports club of IES Llodio on March 25.
