The Biden administration will contribute another 40 billion dollars to Zelenski's government. The United States is by far the country that has donated the most money to Ukraine. The Ukraine Supplementary Budgets Act of 2022, recently passed by the U.S. Senate, allows $40 billion in aid.
Zelenski thanks the U.S. Senate for this new subsidy via twitter: "I would like to thank the United States Senate for the adoption of the Ukraine Supplementary Budget Act of 2022. 40 billion dollars are a significant contribution by the United States to the restoration of peace and security in Ukraine, Europe and the world. We hope Joe Biden will sign the law," he says.
Joe Biden pointed out yesterday that this new aid will enable Ukraine to have more weapons and ammunition.
I praise the Senate's approval of the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2022. $ 40 billion is a significant contribution to restoration of peace and security in Ukraine, Europe and the world. We look forward to the signing of the law by @POTUS

I applaud Congress for passing the security package I requested and for sending a clear biparti message to the world that the U.S. stands with Ukraine. This package will allow us to send even more weapons and ammunition to Ukraine as they their democracy and freedom.
