The case of photographer Kote Cabezudo, open for not erasing images of a minor from the YouTube website, will return to the stage of instruction. Cabezudo has the court order to remove those images from the Internet, but he has not done so and on Tuesday he has a lawsuit against him. On Tuesday, he appeared in a San Sebastian Criminal Court, with the doors closed, and the sources of the lawsuit have reported that the matter will return to the stage of investigation.

It appears that, at the time of the submission of final conclusions by the parties, the Cabezudo lawyer has decided to amend the provisional written defence by requesting the annulment of the legal proceedings. The petition is served by the magistrate, so the case will return to the stage of instruction. The parties await a new trial date.

That is the fourth time that the matter has been postponed. It was postponed for the first time in March 2021, as the defence requested that a document of the main cause be attached. In October 2021 it was delayed for the second time because an expert called to testify was on vacation. And again, because in March of this year the great lawsuit was being made against the photographer.

In the main case, the Cabezudo prison sentence of more than 28 years was imposed. He is charged with rape, sexual abuse, child pornography and fraud offences. For reasons other than this central issue, the photographer also has other types of litigation against him, such as Tuesday. As a result of these causes beyond the main cause, he is currently in prison.
