On 24 June the Supreme Court of EE.UU. rejects Roe v, who for 50 years has guaranteed the constitutional right to abort throughout the territory. From the Wade antecedent, each State has the power of whether or not abortion is legal. That same night it was banned in nine states: Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Wisconsin. And half of the states (about 26) have submitted bills for the illegalization of abortion and many of them do not accept any exceptions, even in cases of rape or when the fetus is not healthy. The draft law of the State of Louisiana equates abortion to murder.
A fear that has spread on social media is that these platforms that collect female menstruation data can be informed by the courts to follow the trail of aborted women.
Another risk is the persecution of groups against abortion. Draft laws that are being prepared by a number of states, such as Texas, provide for prizes of up to 10,000 euros for those who denounce people who help women abort. Also useful for this witch hunt are the platforms that collect the news of menstruation: from them you can collect the list of women who have aborted and analyze their networks of relationships, investigate which people and groups have been supported by the woman who has aborted.
These data on menstruation of individual women are currently commercial products. They report on cycle timing, ovulation and fertility. For years, at least since 2019, they have reported that these menstruation apps sell personal information to third parties.
Taking advantage of the excuse of fertility and the difficulties that many women have in getting pregnant, these platforms collect eleven data from private life that do not come to the thread, for example, if they smoke and how much, how much alcohol they have drunk, if they have spent the night, in what position they had touched the skin and if they had an orgasm, if they masturbate, what is the skin, how many hours they sleep...
