On Wednesday at 17:00 in the afternoon, with the main reception, the Socialist Gazte Topagune of 2022 was launched in Durango. Until Sunday, various activities will take place in different parts of Durango and Iurreta: talks, round tables, cultural initiatives, sports activities and shows, workshops...

This is the second edition of the Socialist Gazte Topagune, which in October last year hosted over 1,000 young people in Altsasu (Navarra). This year's meeting was announced in May by the Socialist Youth Coordinator and the Basque Nationalist Group, and they pointed out that Durango's meeting will also be "a meeting point to open the call to the organization". "In the face of the elimination of fundamental rights, the increase in life and the deterioration of the quality of life in general, we want to put on the table the need for communism. This is, therefore, the central objective of the Topagune: to have a space for debate and dialogue on the current state of communism and on the importance of young people organizing themselves independently," they explained.

The titles of the conferences and round tables present the topics to be discussed: The ideological and cultural struggle. Ways to transform communism into hegemonic, socialist Space Network. Economic-political scenario and communist strategy in theory and practice. Several political theses and the Socialist Movement at the international level. Thesis of internationalism and rupture processes.
