They rip off anti-feminist images and block access to Barcelona to the Order Hear bus
  • On Monday, the ultraderecha Rse Oir association planned to travel by bus in Barcelona, as reported by the Pro Amnesty Movement. A group of people have cut the bus to the entrance to the city and removed the graffiti that linked feminism with Nazism.

At the entrance of Barcelona, on Avenida Diagonal, the bus from Esther Oir, which is carrying out the anti-feminist campaign, was paralyzed on Monday. The action members began to remove the graffiti that the bus brought to view, such as the photo of Adolf Hitler with the face painted with the feminist symbol and the phrase #Stopfeminazis. The Ekintza Arran organization has spread it through social networks:

As pointed out by Arrate, the Mosso d’ Esquadra identified and expelled the individuals who have carried out the action. The bus, for its part, followed his path, accompanied by the Mossos who accompanied him on the route. The bus planned to make a stop in the vicinity of the Sagrada Familia, but it did not, so it departed from the city to Sabadell at 16:00 in the afternoon.

Direct explained that the Office of the Prosecutor for Hate Crimes filed a letter with the on-call court to prevent the bus from taking the journey through Barcelona. According to the paper, “the bus attacks the dignity, rights and freedom of women and insults their ideas by linking them to nationalism, creating a climate that normalizes discrimination against women”. Examining magistrate Hugo Novales Bilbao, who was on call, rejected the petition on the grounds that the opinion transmitted by the bus "protects freedom of expression".

Anti-feminist campaign

The Order Hear Association ran a transphobic campaign in 2017, under the slogan “Boys have a penis. Girls have vulva. Don't be fooled. If you're a man, you're a man. If you were born a woman, you are a woman.” On this occasion, the campaign or stop counts with the law of gender violence, the law of equality and the regulations against the exclusion of the LGBTI group.
