Guests over 65 will be able to attend cinemas once a week for 2 euros
- The Government will implement this measure on Tuesday. It is intended to encourage the return of people over 65 to theaters, as they are the ones who have the most difficulty in returning to the cinema after the pandemic.

The film promotion plan will continue on July 11 with 35 Euskal Herria cinemas that will offer a price reduction for the elderly. The discount will apply one day of the week, if possible they are asked to put it on Tuesdays. If you close the room on Tuesdays or just open on weekends, you'll put it another day.
With the price reduction, it is sought that viewers return to the halls. Cinemas have been one of the cultural sectors most affected by the pandemic. The age difference is evident: 49.3% of young people aged 20 to 24 have attended cinema at least once from 2021 to 2022, compared to 6% of older people.
