Until April, it is necessary to go back one day to find 60 new cases of coronavirus in the Basque Autonomous Community. Thus, yesterday the number of positives reached a maximum of two and a half months, mainly due to the strong proliferation of contagion in Gipuzkoa: 41 in Gipuzkoa, 10 in Bizkaia, 7 in Álava and two more in one of the performances that Osakidetza has left unspecified. From 27 o'clock on the eve, no doubt, the big rise.

In Álava there are 7 new positives 5 in Vitoria-Gasteiz and 1 in Laudio and Arrazua-Ubarrundia. Of the 10 in Bizkaia, 4 are in Bilbao, 2 in Bermeo and 1 in Arrigorriaga, Berango, Leioa and Trapagaran. Among the 40 cases recorded in Gipuzkoa, 10 have been in Donostia-San Sebastián; 8 in Tolosa (18 in the last four days); 3 in Eibar and Getaria; 2 in Beasain, Ibarra and Zizurkil; and one in Andoain, Deba, Eskoriataia, Hondarribia, Legorreta, Villagona.

It is noteworthy that the media barullo that has been generated with the cases of Getaria is compared with the calm messages that have been disseminated by the authorities from Tolosa ("Have communicated to the city council that the cases of Tolosa are controlled") and with the least impact they have given to the media: Getaria collects 5 cases in a week – you’ll have to see what tracking a hostel’s clients over the past few days – and Tolosa has recorded 20 positive in that week. One third of the 41 positive detected yesterday in Gipuzkoa (14 cases) corresponded to municipalities in the region of Tolosaldea.

Regarding the 17 new cases in Navarre, 2 have been detected, following the thread of the people who participated in the famous hamaiketako on the eve of San Fermin, and another 4 cases correspond to the outbreak in Pamplona since Sunday.

According to the authorities of the two autonomous territories, on 14 July it has left no new deaths in the trail of COVID-19. However, the population found on Monday in Eskoriatza, which had already tested positive in the past, remains unaccounted for, pending the outcome of the autopsy.
