40,000 people gathered yesterday to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Lekeitio Public School.The party was held under the motto “Zapran Gagoz” and the witness was given to the organizer of the following year, Errenteria.

The whole day was prepared and there were several activities, mainly aimed at children and young people: Pirritx, Failx and Marimotots, acrobatic workshops, concerts...

There were also claims. Ana Puente, head of EHIGE, said that the Public School should be the centrepiece of the educational system because it guarantees Basque language and quality education. EHIGE requires an in-depth diagnosis of the educational system and the creation of a new system of funding for public and concerted schools.

The organizers gave a very positive assessment and indicated that there are more people coming in than expected. Despite the bad weather in the afternoon, it was not an impediment to continue the program.
