The Ertzaintza has fined five neighbours of Aiaraldea with EUR 2,500 for a series of actions carried out during last year’s general feminist strike. Four strikers have received a fine of EUR 601 for the pickets facing the Tubacex plant in Llodio (Álava). For its part, the fifth neighbour has been sentenced to EUR 100 for the appearance in Orduña to announce the strike, claiming that the act was not held in the authorised place.

The ERNAI militant is one of the young people who has been fined on the Tubacex piquet. In particular, seven members of this youth organization in Aiaraldea have been fined in recent months for various initiatives, including the strike called for this Saturday.

On November 30, a general feminist strike was held in Euskal Herria to claim "a system of Basque public-community care". The call was extensively followed in Aiaraldea:
