The 25th edition of the Errobi festival will start on February 22 in the afternoon and will start with a concert of colloquia: In 25 years of creation and artisan meetings, Mizel Theret, Mixel Etxekopar, Paxkal Indo, Gabriel Durif, BEÑAT Achiary, Pantxoa Etchegoin, KIMU Txalaparta…
In the evening, the trio Revolutionary Birds, composed of musicians from Tunisia, Brittany and Lebanon, will offer sufias, percussion and cornemus songs, among others. Next, the six-person crown called San Salvador will offer a "radical singing concert", accompanied by a hand-punch and a pandero. And they will end the night with the performance Petite Planetes, which mixes film, live music and dance.
Those who approach the Church will be able to begin the sunrise with the solist rapone. In the afternoon, Jean Christian Irigoyen, Jen Bonn, Itxaro Borda and BEÑAT Achiary will offer an interesting debate on how and for what purpose artistic creation arises. In the afternoon, it will be the turn of Maddi Oihenart and Jeremie Garate, who will offer a concert. Next, the program will offer the Memoir of Memories in the time of cherries, merging poems from Itxaro Borda and experimental music, with BEÑAT Achiary, Joseba Irazoki, Oihan Oliarj-Ines and Julen Achiary.
On Friday night there will be other concerts and dance performances such as the Kimu berriak show that will remember the trajectory of the txalaparta, the Basaide dance show that will offer the concert of Old School Funky Family.
Two dance performances can be enjoyed between the concerts throughout the day: Malandain Ballet Biarritz and Erritu from the Kukai dance group.
To finish the day, the program will offer a live movie show, illuminated by the fires of Paxkal Indo.
Following the tradition of ending the festival surrounded by nature, this year they will head at 11:00 hours to the Peñas de Itsusi from the nursery of Itsasu.
