At ARGIA we have already said before, this year’s public prize has marked a turning point in the history of the Basque series. The first music is trapped by melodies and images, realizes that what comes is not common in the creation of series in Basque and becomes alert to the apparatus, perhaps also nervous to which it comes. The first chapter has come as a surprise, and the next ones are elegantly taken to the viewer, unable to guess what will happen at every moment in the next one.

The port, the fishermen, the ice, the drug, the penetrating smell of mafia -- who is who and what he's going to do in a panorama that you can't guess. A missing, detective of the Ertzaintza who performs the therapy of the psychologist, a young and mysterious local police, small and large trapicgrowers. What happened in eleven ports of the West, now by fiction, but also very close to reality.

The ingredients for a good cop Thriller are already there, but this year’s winner also goes further, the series shows the premises of an author’s work: as the journalist of this house says, in this production there is a green blue, “Almandoz Kolore”.

As the authors of the series explain in the port, the work has been done in a hurry, with the breath cut, and in the interview we have carried out with them you can see that they carry this thorn. They are happy with the result, but they also claim dignity to the Basque creators.

That is why this year’s award for the best audiovisual production has been for Hondar Ahoak.
