In 2015 and 2016, “PP patriotic policemen”, under the chairmanship of Spanish President Mariano Rajoy, spied on 69 deputies from Podemos through the databases of the Ministry of the Interior, according to El País. We can, through social media, refer to the newspaper's news and said that "dirty war is unacceptable". In addition, political training has called for the PSOE to "immediately" break the agreement with the pp for the renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary, with a majority in investiture.

The Internal Affairs Unit of the National Police has communicated this case to the judge of the National Court Santiago Pedraz and are analyzing whether the 69 deputies of Podemos were investigated in an out-of-court manner by order of the head of the Ministry of the Interior, according to La Vanguardia. It should be recalled that in February of this year, Judge Pedraz admitted a complaint from Podemos in which they called for the investigation of "concrete actions" of the Ministry of the Interior against the party at the time of the People's Party, according to the media eldiario.es.

At least 55 of the 69 deputies elected in the December 2015 elections were spied on, including Pablo Iglesias, Yolanda Díaz, Ione Belarra or Irene Montero, according to parliamentary sources from El País in a statement. The Chief Commissioner of the Central Operational Support Unit, Enrique García Castaño, and the Secretary of State for Security, Francisco Martínez, held talks in which Martínez asks García Castaño about the past of Podemos Members and whether they had a criminal record or affiliation to extreme movements: As you can read in El País. “Look at 69, but you have to look at them one by one and, of course, it leaves a mark,” said García Castaño.

Denounce the "corrupt and mafious" attitude of pp

During these years, the Secretary General of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, has spoken about the possible sanctions that those responsible for party espionage should suffer, according to the media eldiario.es: “Police authorities and their political leaders should go to jail.”

Podemos’s MEP, Irene Montero, said that the PP’s form of government is “corruption” and that the popular “are willing to use all the necessary means” when they lose power “to prevent democracy”. The goal of spying was to "hurt" the party and "curb changes" in Spain, according to La Vanguardia in a statement.

The political party Sumar has also denounced espionage and has described as "corrupt and mafious" the attitude of pp, who has qualified as "absolutely false". Ezker Batua’s federal coordinator, Antonio Macillo, has denounced that “those who since 2018 talk about the dictatorship, because they do not want to accept the result of the ballot box, were the ones who acted in this way”, according to the media eldiario.es.

Except in Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, in all other Autonomous Communities
