The neighbours and neighbours charged in Macrojudgment 13/13 appeared this Monday morning in Bilbao. In recent weeks the defendants have met with the parties PNV, EH Bildu, PSE-EE and Elkarrekin Podemos, the unions ELA, LAB and UGT and the CAV Ararteko, and have announced that there will be more quotes.

From the meetings, they underlined two conclusions: on the one hand, that the other actors have seen violations of rights on which the trial is based; on the other, that no one was going to “imagine” that 10 years after the Aiete Conference this situation would continue to occur. The defendants' spokesman, Julen Zelarain, said that the trial that will begin on 12 July at the National Hearing responds to a "logic of the past" and told them that it is "to return to a situation overcome".

Manifestations

The defendants have called for demonstrations in Bilbao and Donostia-San Sebastian for two days before the beginning of the trial, on 10 July, and not for trial 13/13. To the solution under the motto. In recent weeks, other types of mobilizations have been carried out in the processed villages.

The Public Prosecutor's Office is calling for prison sentences of between 7 and 19 years for the eight defendants in Case 13/13, charged with collaboration or integration with ETA. The defendants stated that the trial is out of time and that it is time to close the wounds, when the trial was announced in May.
