The first trial against Iparragirre in the Spanish State took place at the National Court of Madrid on 8 and 9 July, and the prosecutor's office ordered 122 years in prison: 30 years for murder, 80 years for attempted murder - four for every serious victim in the attack, 20 years - and 12 for possession of explosives. Thus, the magistrate has joined the Prosecutor ' s Office ' s request, which has denied the facts.

Iparragirre, arrested in France in 2004 and related to ETA, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a crime of integration in the direction of ETA. On 27 August the conviction ended, but while he was still in prison he was denounced in Reau prison by the Platform for Eskoriatza Prisoners and the dynamic Kalera Kalera de Antiagua de Donostia. After being extradited to Spain, he has spent the last ten months in Brieva prison, in the prison isolation module.

11 open causes

There are twelve open cases against him, and today's case was the judgment of the first trial, which has been suspended. In these twelve cases, according to the defense, all the actions attributed to Iparragirre in their trajectory are collected: from the Araba command, from the Madrid command, supposedly responsible for the military of the organization... The dates of the two trials to be held in October and January next year are now known.
