The Education Advisor of Navarra, Carlos Gimeno, explained that the extension of the free network of public children's schools to the four high-income sections that had previously paid the registration fees will cost approximately EUR 3.8 million, with a minimum of 3,300 new beneficiary families. The remaining six income brackets were already covered by gratuity.
This measure means "achieving the strategic objective of free of charge of stage 0-3 of the Progressive and Plural Government Agreement 2023-2027 signed by the PSN, Geroa Bai and TĂș Navarra", in the words of the Department of Education.
